Swedish Massage

The most common type of massage for an individual seeking full body relaxation and relief of muscle tension is a swedish massage, also known as a classic massage. Relax and energize the body to improve overall health today!

Neuromuscular Massage

Medical in nature, this type of therapy consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure on trigger points to release and treat pain. This treatment is more specific and targeted to treat areas of discomfort throughout the body. Involving myofascial release to stretch and warm up the fascia before gently manipulating the soft tissue on a deeper level. If you experience on-going pain, this is the massage modality most recommended for you!

Prenatal/Postnatal Massage

For expecting mothers or new mothers, this type of massage is designed to reduce stress, decrease symptoms of depression, regulate hormone levels, help blood circulation, relieve muscle and joint pain, and reduce swelling, and even improve labor outcomes according to the American Pregnancy Association. During your massage session, you will be in a comfortable side lying position, warm and cozy with specifically placed cushions for extra support.

Cupping Therapy

is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which special suction cups are placed on the body to treat a number of ailments including blood disorders, rheumatic diseases such as fibromyalgia and arthritis, fertility disorders, skin problems (such as acne or eczema), high blood pressure, migraines, anxiety & depression, bronchial congestion caused by allergies and asthma, varicose veins, and many more.

Hot Stones

Using Basalt stones on specific regions of the body to loosen tight areas and promote a deep relaxation. Typically during this treatment a medium-deep tissue massage is performed prior and then hot stones are specifically placed along the spine, arms, and feet area until they cool.

TMJ Treatment

TMJ Massage Therapy is for the treatment of Temporomandibular joint dysfunction, which causes pain, headaches, limited mobility in the neck and jaw.

Chair Massage

Used to relieve muscular tension through manual manipulation and compression techniques. This treatment usually lasts about 30 mins and allows the individual to remain fully clothed during the session. (For corporate chair massage rates and availability, please email hilltopacresmassage@gmail.com)

Thermotherapy Body Wraps

Available in Detoxifying and Hydrating. The use of thermotherapy is meant to reduce stress and muscle tension and also treat pain. Like a traditional body wrap, the skin will be scrubbed and cleansed, then the hydrating mask or detoxifying mud will be applied, plastic body wrapping and several layers of heated towels and blankets are wrapped around the body like a cocoon. While processing, a nice scalp and face massage are performed. This process usually takes about 2 hours to perform. (Showering is recommended directly before this treatment to allow best results from the products used. We recommend drinking 24-36 oz. of water prior to the appointment. Please wear a bikini or under garmets that you feel comfortable in and that can be disposed of afterwards as the products used during this treatment may stain. Disposable under garmets are also provided by the therapist.)
